A startup that’s selling $150 million in stock has raised a new round of financing, including a $1.5 million investment from Andreessen Horowitz, one of the biggest venture capital firms in Silicon Valley.
The New Orleans-based startup, Guy Fieri Restaurants, plans to open its first restaurant in Newport Beach, California, next year.
Guy Firi is also working with a group of local entrepreneurs to build a new dining experience at the Newport Beach Convention Center.
The venture is based in New Orleans.
In an interview with The Times, Guy said the money will help him build his new restaurant, which will be a place where people can enjoy the freshest, freshest food.
“We are a restaurant, not a retail outlet,” Guy said.
“We want people to come in and eat here and enjoy what they want, not the stuff they think they want.
The food will be different, and they will be able to order whatever they want.”
The company, which opened a restaurant in New York, plans more than 100 restaurants in 30 countries.
It said it is now building a restaurant at a New York hotel.
