Disney Springs restaurants, which have long operated in the Disney Springs area, are being eyed for a Nashville outpost.
The company said Tuesday it plans to build a restaurant and spa complex in the Nashville area and is working with local and state governments to develop a plan to open it in 2019.
Disney Springs is the latest in a series of restaurant-themed resorts, including one in Palm Springs, Calif., that opened in 2017.
“The plan is to create a community and community-based experience for Disney Springs guests,” Disney Springs CEO Mark Hetfield said in a statement.
“We are looking forward to a new home for the Disney Villas.”
The Nashville location is the largest of several proposed restaurants and spa complexes in the Walt Disney World Resort area.
The resorts are set to open later this year in Orlando and Miami.
